On the other side of the 6' x 6' deck with picket railings is the stainless steel firepole with safety gate (swings inward only). The firepole is sunk into concrete and attached at the top to a "gateway" which provides stability and a more dramatic take-off exit. Barbara added rock holds to the single footing post to provide an additional challenging activity.
